I live in OKC and I've heard from a few different people that it's scheduled to be finished for this season's opener against Houston. I'm struggling not to make fun of orange aggie, but I'll just say that they've needed this update for quite some time. We, the OU alumni and fans, used to call it Rustolium Stadium. But, to sum up, it's on track to be finished. Not only that, it's likely to be the NCAA's equivalent of JJone's new texas Stadium. Even Barry Switzer has commented on how it's (the entire facility and not just the stadium facade) going to be a jaw dropper. I guess that's what you can do when some modern day JR Ewing is writing you checks for hundreds of millions of dollars at least once a year.

Definately needed the upgrade there in Stillwater. Now if only they could get people to come to the games. Might be kind of weird looking in real life as they can't even sell out their existing seats, let alone all of the ones they added.Good thing Boone Pickens' checkbook knows no limit.

Wow they couldn't sell out the 45,000 seats?? I thought Oklahoma State was pretty big on their football program??

Average attendance for the 2006 season was right at 41,000. The stadium is usually at or around capacity for conference games.
