didn't someone mention that sliders had little to no effect on the pass rushing issue?

welp that gives me my reason not to buy this game.

I just one year want good line play.

up and down field movement.

some type of real blocking...

Euphoria must be added to this game!

once again we are playing madden 04 from ps2 with updated graphics and less features.

I hope you are wrong. I've been underwhelmed with the gameplay videos, but was hoping that they'd at least clean up the game enough to maintain my interest once the college football bug bites.

The other issue that has me a little skeptical is the no deep passes. In 08 there was never any threat of the CPU throwing deep (more than 30 yards) on me so I was never "on edge" on defense.

Sliders definitely didn't really work last season either. The one thing so far it does look like they have gotten right is rosters. The ability to grab them from anyone is a huge replayablility plus.

CDJ and Rhombic said that they talked to the producers or the people who they could talk to about the game. And, almost all the community guys complained about the pass rush, the "producers" said that they still have time to tweak it enough to help the gamers.
