I pre-ordered the game, but not really excited about it. I figure it will be 50+ hours of slider testing before I can start a dynasty. Its summer time and the last thing I'll be doing is sitting inside on a sunny day playing video games so It may be September or later before I really get going on this game.

That's the optimistic fistofrage we all know and love!! Oh and as hot as it is outside I can't imagine NOT sitting inside playing video games. But then i'm not an outdoors type person anyways.

Hey, at least I was optimistic enough to preorder it . I just despise slider testing, but its a necessary evil.

This is why I'm actually excited about the new Tecmo game. No sliders to test and if you get crazy unrealistic stats, well, its expected. NCAA, I want it to be as sim as possible and right out of the box there is always something that isn't right so you have to slider test.

And slider testing ain't easy. You have to take an A team vs. a D team and play about 10 full games. A D team vs. an A team and do the same. On down the line. You can't just start a dynasty after only a few hours of testing because you have to make sure you get somewhat consistant results. Or at the minimum make it so that playing equally ranked teams is a dog fight most of the time with pretty realistic stats.
