I've been playing online trying to sharpen up(and boy do I have a long way to go. Its been a while since I played other users) and I'm finding out all the tricks that you guys have talked about. Every team I've played has just about been a team that has an option QB as a starter or reserve. They run option plays and two defenders will be taking the QB down and he perfectly pitches it 6-8 yds on his way to the turf. I even tackled a QB and he was ruled down, but the ball still came out but the play was dead. This is crazy. I could see them letting you pitch it on the way down but the accuracy should be zilch causing you to lose precious yds or turn the ball over. I hate cheezers.

I'm getting used to breaking any bad habits I had, like using two or three formatations the whole game, but tell me if this is cheese. I was playing today and a guy ran at least a dozen WR Screens out of the same I-Formation. At one point he ran it three straight plays. I was bitching about it in the forum and a couple guys said "Stop the offense and it won't be a problem and they defended the guy." He made a nice play out of one of them, but the other two were for 4 or 5 yds, so I contained it. It's just the fact he kept doing it.

Like I said, I need the practice, but I'm glad we have the online dynasty coming up.

Yes sir the option game has been fixed the team added logic this year one LB will take the QB, one LB will take the RB, and the last LB will play the FB. Its one issue that was 100% fixed.

Now we have problems getting pressure on teams that run the spread. Or the lack of pass rush

I think he means, can the QB still throw a perfect pitch after being leveled.

From what I've seen, it's still there.

Though the previous poster is right. The CPU seems to play the option better.

No, once the guy gets wrapped up he can't pitch it. Several community guys have stated as such.

Well that just eliminated 95% of the players online. What a shame!

Lol, yep! Strangely enough though most people I play randomly online don't ever use the option.
