but is the tournament this weekend going to be NCAA 08? or will they have a copy of NCAA 09?

Tourney's Saturday.

Find a Gamestop. Maybe you can find an open slot.

If you haven't signed up yet I don't think you should have a problem. At my store I was there tonight at 7pm and they only have 6 or 7 people signed up so far. I don't think most people know about it to be honest.

Yeah different results in different locations.
I couldn't even find a spot in Huntsville 3 weeks ago.
Not sure about other locations.
