What are your major goals in your Dynasty?

Playing off of Dook's Position Battles thread.....

What are your goals for your first season as HC of your program in your dynasty?

Mine as Auburn (in the Legends league)....

1. Get comfortable running a Spread offense. I've been playing a LOT of 08 trying to get used to it.

2. Get Sen'Derrick Marks the Outland and Lombardi trophies as I always play as the DT and Marks is an absolute monster this year.

3. Destroy Rockytop's Tennessee squad in Auburn....beat him so bad he seriously considers retiring from the league and rethinking his philosophy on life. Then...have him win the Eastern Division meet me in Atlanta and thrash him again....even worse.

4. Win the SEC title.

5. Finish in the Top 50 nationally in both rushing and passing offense.

6. Get to a BCS Bowl and have a shot at the MNC late in the season.

7. Land a top 10 recruiting class.

Go 14-0 every year as Tennessee, win the Heisman and every other award every year.

As Michigan.

1. Play alot of freshman the first year, to get them exp.

2. Beat Ohio St.

3. Top 10 Recruiting Class

4. Recruit my "Face of the School" QB, to run my spread

5. Win the Big 10, probably second year.

6. Top 10 finish

7. National Championship(s).

8. Build up a school that use to be dominant.

As Western Kentucky

1. Not finish last in Division I

2. Finish .500

3. Have a recruiting class in the Top 100 (lol)

4. Avoid being a stomping ground

5. Establish KJ Black as a better than average QB.

6. Be comfortable running the spread.

7. Beat Kentucky

as auburn get kodi or chris todd running the offense well, probably kb. I want to integrate mario fannin into the offense at some receiver.
RECRUIT TOP WIDE RECEIVERS, 1ST PRIORITY, then look for strong defensive line players.
Win sec championships, if I can win them NC's are sure to follow.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, BEAT BAMA, AGAIN.

I haven't decided what team I will use for my offline dynasty yet, online I just want to have some fun with some good guys.

But my goals are usually the same with my offline dynasty.

1. Get my "guys" in that first recruiting class. I alway try to get a speedy RB and a QB with a big time arm. I know it's getting to be taboo in college but I love a pocket passer QB that is big and can sling the rock.

2. As always no matter what team win the conference. I might not always do it but that is always the biggest goal I have.

3. This kinda ties into number 1, but I also want to keep the best players in my state in-state. No matter what school I am. I think that it important. Kinda like what Pete Carroll did when her got to USC the best Cali players started to stay home.

4. Beat my rival.

5. Make and win a bowl game.

These are kind of universal but they are always my dynasty goals no matter what team I choose.

IN12NSE, your priorities are slightly out of order (referring to your number 2)

For my first year:

1. Beat Ohio State (Yes, I know how unlikely that is especially given the game gives an artificial edge to the higher-rated team, but that is always my priority as a Wolverine)

2. Put together a great recruiting class including a dual-threat QB for the immediate future.

3. Gain effective experience running a spread option offense (preferably with Feagin rather than Threet but we'll see)

4. Legitimately compete for the Big Ten championship

5. Get a New Years Bowl bid and win it

Well my roommate is going to be NC State so i was thinking about using some team in the other division of the ACC like i think Maryland so...

1.Beat my roommate as much as possible

2.Go to ACC Championship

3.Win the ACC and go to BCS bowl game

4. Have an excellent recruiting class
