Your First Game Playing On NCAA Football 09

-Like someone said earlier I usually go in and look around at all the menus to see what's new and what's been added. Although I'm pretty familiar with how all the menus look this year thanks to Steve's amazing 1,000+ screens.

-Then I'll go to play now and start up a few mess around games in some of the stadiums that are new this year so I can see how the graphics and lighting look, I'll also do this with teams that have alternates.

-Then probably to practice mode so I can get a feel for this years game play.

-Hopefully by that time some of the hardcore sim players will have posted some slider sets so I can start testing different sets to see which ones fit my style of play the best. Unfortunately this is usually a long and tedious project that takes many hours and a lot of notebook paper. Through the testing process I'll either be Northwestern, Western Michigan or Wazzu in dynasty mode.

My first game will be the same as it's been since the PS1 days: HOUSTON (me) VS RICE (my best friend) for the coveted Bayou Bucket.

Every year -- I have a tradition-- I lead my Mizzou Tigers against the Kansas Jay Hawks. If necessary I will up Kansas' ratings prior to play because I think they will have a great team again and I want this game to be the barn burner I think it will be in real life!

My tradition since 2004 has been me and some buddy's post up outside of Gamestop till midnight meet others like us and set up some tournaments in the future.

There is four of us & we're all die hard fans I never play with any other team except on Dynasty Mode (normally it's a 1AA/FCS build up) i'm all about Ole Miss... So I normally play against Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee in my first game.
Day 2: I normally am naming & editing the SEC myself I never have downloaded rosters made by anyone.. yet


I have been owning with previous crappy rated Ole Miss teams online and off now that i'll actually have a offense
this probably will be my new favorite year



My first game against computer will be Arkansas.............

I usuallly do a game where I'm UVA (my dynasty team) in an exhibition vs. a powder puff to get my controls down...

Same thing I do every year, play as Mizzou vs KU home and away, then name as much of the big 12 as I can. Once rosters come out I"ll start a dynasty as Air Force.
