Despite being a Buckeye fan...

I always roll with a "bad" team and try to build them up.

Last year it was Army and Tulane for me.

This year, UNLV online dynasty, and maybe WKU or whomever strikes my fancy when I read Phil Steele's for my offline dynasty.

Maybe in past games you could, but I don't know if you will be challenging for BCS Bowls out of the gate this year.

As for me, I guess I am doing my online dynasty with South Florida, and offline with Auburn. I will have to get South Florida to the next level, and beat west virginia (the only other user controlled team in the big east.)

And please no jokes about my combo of Auburn and USF.

I've always played as a middle-of-the-pack team such as Virginia or Clemson (who admittedly are favorites this year), but for some sick reason I'm tempted to start a dynasty as Duke this time around. I think it could be fun.

I like the underdogs. I'm in 2 online dynasties, one with San Jose State and the other with Hawaii.

I start with UCF every time ... then try other 1* and 2* schools. Over the years I've built up FAU, FIU, SMU, San Jose State ... I never play with a powerhouse program. I find more enjoyment in building up a program rather than simply maintaing it.

Considering South Carolina doesn't really even seem like much of a powerhouse since Spurrier has yet to make any big moves, they're the team i'll use.

I may use a different team if I like the jerseys enough though
