Here's a reason I have trouble with ea and NCAA 09 09

How can this game have gone gold. They don't have foot prints in the snow. It's not done. They have had weeks to ad this. Now they will add it next year and call it new, when in fact there has been more then enough time to add it this year. At least they added something we have all been asking for years, playing as a mascot. RIGHT. Lets talk about home field advantage remember that (home field something) was in the game a few years ago and they took it out. It did many of the same things that this years home field advantage is bring back this year. I for one am tired of this stuff from ea. To spend so much time with gimmicks and deception on the marketing side makes me mad when the gameplay suffers year after year...

Well you're obviously just looking for attention so I'll bite, as it's been discussed and discussed that the mascot stuff took 1 day to get in the game. 1 day not "so much time".
Adding foot prints in the snow is I'm guessing a lot more time consuming especially with the new lighting system I imagine.
I seriously can't believe people still post this nonsense even after all the details about what goes on in developement is posted in the QA and demo thread.
I take that back. I actually can believe it as it just goes with the tons of other posts, that if people just take some time to actually read the threads, they wouldn't make these types of posts. Then again some would just to "whine".
Par for the course these days.

Just don't get the game and move on.

Sky, if you were a fish. You know that you would be mounted on some trolls wall above the fire place somewhere. SO what kind of fish are you? Large mouth bass, or do you want to be an exotic marlin that requires deep sea fishing?

First it went gold because ummm, its two weeks away.

And help me out here. You are upset at EA for spending time on "gimmicks" and having the gameplay suffer but you are complaining about no footprints in the snow?

dbrandon is actually right. I don't know why so many people have given in to the pity speech EA has wanted you to believe. They have underachieved by not having features they had on last-gen. It's that plain and simple. It's not that people don't like the game and it's not that they don't want to buy it, it's EA leaving out basics that made the game great and have been around for years. I know they can't snap their fingers and make the perfect game. It takes a lot of work. I get that. However, don't put aside great features and details that made the game great, only to say something along the lines of "we wanted to add new features and not just re-make the old ones" when the game looks like something's missing now that the old ones aren't in. Like the guy said, there were footsteps in the snow as far back as 03, now there are none. And progressive lighting has something to do with it??? I don't get it.
