The helmet is one we used to wear from 71-73, and I'm a fan of it.

Cal's uni's has to lose the stripe on the helmet, just doesn't look right.

It's just missing something to me. It's fine for a one-time thing (aren't those gonna be worn against Furman or somebody?), but more than that and it just looks dated.

Agreed. My problem with the stripe is that it's too fat on the base. It would probably look better if they made it thinner there or just got rid of it altogether.

The wraparound to the back of the jersey also looks weird. I think the bear claws are kind of cool though, they're subtle and you probably couldn't see them unless you looked in real life.
