Has the passing game been fixed?

Hey guys, im a long time NCAA fan but last years passing game ruined the game for me.

It seemed like every pass i threw was an absolute bullet. Even when i just tapped the button my qb would absolutely rocket the ball 75% of the time with no touch.

It made the game way to unpredictable for me. Im hoping the passing game has been improved this year but i havent had a chance to play the demo.

Whats the verdict so far?

my verdict would be yes, the passing game is fixed

Can you expand on that answer at all? Has it been upgraded alot as far as the control you have on the throw?

No problem

I think the directional passing(high, low, lead receiver, throw behind) has been greatly enhanced. Also, its beautiful to see my QB fire a "frozen rope" over the middle to a receiver running a crossing or slant route and then throw a ball with beautiful touch and lay it over the receivers outside shoulder on a fly pattern. Also, being able to throw a ball to the pylon in the endzone is done well meaning that I have the opportunity now to throw the ball where only my receiver can catch it.

Yes, last year when the deep ball ended up being a straight line was dissapointing. The deep ball I had worked so hard to defend and that I could throw was all of a sudden gone. Guys bitched about it but it was REAL LIFE and could be defended with work - and I put oh-so-many hours in n this game. I wanted the edge I had earned back!

Co-sign. Couldn't have said it better myself. Passing in 09 is night and day compared to 08, imo.
