EA - Is NCAA 09 Online play lag free??

I have been catching up on my ncaa 08 recently just getting ready for 09 to drop and played a couple of games online this weekend. Well there was always a issue with online play having a slight lag issue even if the connection was good. You could tell in the kicking meter very easily.

What I am wondering is, has this been corrected for 09? With the pushing of online dynastys this seems like a important issue to make the online play very stable and smooth.

Its never going to be the same as playing offline for obvious reasons, but from what ive read the online play is good. Rhude talked about it on his latest post.

When the game comes out, during the first week I would say on XBox Live, there is some lag at times but it goes away quickly after that. Servers adjustment, whatever.

Now, there are times when for some reason unknownto man that EA servers will not allow one gamer to connect to another. You can get maybe one snap in before the disconnect. This usually happens to one of our league members every year and EA's customer service is horrible at fixing the issue quickly.

Terrible connection issues with NCAA 09. Lose connection to opponent almost every game. Its not my internet connection either. I know quite abit about internet and xboxlive and its neither of those...which leaves it on the EA servers (they are terrible). I am not the only person that is having these problems either. Just check all the forums for the game and you are bound to find many people that are just losing connection to their opponents for no reason at all. There is no lag though really, just the out of nowhere connection lost issue.

I'm on PS3 and so far it's below average - the fluidity of gameplay.
I did have 1 lag free game so far.

I've been having smooth online games. Loving it now fix the online dynasty problems please EA.

I've only played a handful of games online but so far they all have been smooth and without any noticeable lag. Havent dropped or been botted out of any game. PS3 online.
