Recruiting Questions, re: Pipeline States

This will be my first year playing NCAA next-gen with any sort of regularity (I never got into 08 thanks to APF2K8). With that, I have a question or two about pipeline states:

1) What is the minimum requirement for a state to be considered a pipeline state? (i.e. what do I have to do to gain a pipeline state, and what should I do to avoid losing a pipeline state)

2) What benefits does one get by obtaining a pipeline state?

Somewhat related, can someone direct me to any recruiting FAQs that may be available? As stated earlier I haven't seriously played any next-gen NCAA game, so my knowledge on how the system works is limited. Thanks in advance.

i believe having 4-5 players from that state will make it a pipeline state. to keep it, you just need to maintain 4-5 players from that state.

pipeline states usually gives you more players that are interested in your program for you to recruit. I'm not sure about what other benefits there are off the top of my head.

I beleive u need 3 players on your roster from a state for it to be called a Pipeline.

Only benefit is they will be interested from the start of recruiting, plus its easier to recruit them.
