Well, I think it gives you more of a chance to get down there, or you just kick out of the endzone. Or you could raise the kciking power and just kick it straight up in the air. That would really give you time to get under it.

For those complaining about not being able to defend the pass, do you mean only down the middle? I'm in not way a great videogame football player and if anything I'm finding it easy to defend the pass. I had 5 picks in an AA game against Va Tech. I'm loving this game, and I'll admit it's the first of the "next gen" games that I'm having a blast with.

Yeah same here...As far as stopping the pass, when I call the right D, most of the time I get a stop or hold the O to a short gain. When I don't I pay for it...I love that...I also like to see the WR shake off the LB as they go running by. There should only be a handful of LB in the country that can hang with a WR for about 10 yards then it's over...people are complaining about too many crossing routes and how easy they are, well it's college football and those are the majority of the routes ran.

True the CPU qb gets too much time and is too accurate...I'll keep tweaking but it's not a game killer for me. Some of the other issues are no different than some of the best years of NCAA like 2004...that game had issues but it was a blast to play!

So far this game is better than 08 imho...

I'm absolutely beside myself, befuddled and perplexed.

I have the game, but haven't opened it yet. Was hoping to get a more definitive read on whether it's good while I still have a chance to return it for a full refund. I can easily afford to eat $60, but it just burns my arse to keep contributing to EA's coffers for substandard products.

But I just can't figure this one out. I can't recall a game ever having such a polarizing effect on the masses. I see many posts essentially calling this game the greatest thing since Internet porn. But others are finding bugs crawling out of the woodwork.

I'm still waiting for that magic post that will make the decision for me.

Wow, talk about mixed reviews!! GoVols, in those 8 games, how has the CPU pass completion % been?-an approximation please.
