This is a very legitimate request, and I'd really like to hear an answer since we obviously have people from EA here who post. It's one thing to answer the "softballs" that are tossed at you on this board, it's another thing to have accountability for these issues that come up every single year without fail.

GTA4 was in development for years and still has plenty of bugs and glitches. And there's far more work involved with programming football AI as opposed to the pedestrians on the streets of Liberty City to have 2 or 3 basic canned responses to being bumped or having a gun pulled on them.

Comparing a sports game to GTA4 is apples and oranges. If GTA4 had been rated as a straight combat game it would've likely gotten a 3 or 4 in the reviews because the enemy AI is terrible and combat mechanics are so far behind what a good shooter is today (whether it be 1st or 3rd person).
