Has there EVER been a medical redshirt in an NCAA football game? I know it hasn't been on any of the games since the first one on the PS2 (2002, Chris Weinke cover), but I never played the versions of the game before that. My point being, it's sorta cynical to expect EA to "add back" something that was never there in the first place.

It'd be nice to have, though.

Within a certain amount of time(weeks/games) if a player gets hurt so severely that his season is over, he can apply for a medical red shirt, which just extends his eligibility an extra year.
