if the sim engine is fixed on madden ps2 i'm going to stick with that, if not i'm going to go back to the 2006 games, the last time i had fun with madden/ncaa.

i own a ps3, a 360 and a wii btw.
NCAA '06 had lots of drops and it was easier to complete a 50 yard bomb than it was a 5 yard crossing pattern.

No, I WILL be misquoted. It has happened a number of times since I started posting, so now I don't say anything that isn't set in stone.

Re: It's official, I'm over it.

EA buys license (eliminates competition)

EA spends millions on marketing campaign

EA cuts cost on quality assurance and expensive/high end developers.

We're left with a game that isn't even worth an $8 rental.

This is probably the best way to approach things. That way when the patch does come out and something isn't included, we don't have 15 threads about how EA are liars and once again deliver a terrible product. I for one am having a blast with the game as it is right now, so anything else that gets updated will just be a bonus.

But seriously, I like this game, and I can't for the life of me imagine anyone playing 08 instead of it.
I'm with you on this one. I'm loving 09.

LOL I did not mean that the game was a vital part of society. I was just saying that people have gotten use to the lowered quality of football games in general.
