Triple Play 98 was the best game I ever played on PS. I only got a playstation just to play that game just like I got a PS3 to play MLB the show. In triple play 98 the fly overs before the game were awesome, prolly the best presentation for a game I have ever seen. Why don't more games do fly over of the stadiums to show you outside and then take you inside. 2k tried in baseball but it was for like 1 sec outside , oh well. Ncaa 09 isnt that bad, im having a blast playing my SDSU dynasty, although I would love to edit. Offensive side sucks with everyone running shotgun but other than that I love the game.

This isn't even the worst game out of the EA's NCAA series.

NCAA 2005 was the worst imo followed by NCAA 2007 on the next generation consoles.

NCAA 2005 sucked because they added the home field advantage feature, there were drops, and there was slowdown. Slowdown really killed the game online.

NCAA 2007 sucked bc it was EA's first attempt on next generation consoles. The framerate was terrible and a ton of stadiums were missing. Not to mention a ton of other details.

NCAA 09 wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for the "wide open gameply". EA always adds these gimicky features that totally suck. I don't understand it. I think this is the reason people complain so much. They feel like they are getting a roster update and new gimick.

*Online dynasty and EA sports world = innovative
*Mascot games, bowling, wide open gameplay, etc. = crap

But how can this list of "worst sports games" go on without mention of MLB 2K6?

Regardless, I'm not going to consider nor endorse NCAA 09 being the worst game of all time. That's ridiculous. Almost even more ridiculous is Joe Montana Sports Talk Football was mentioned? How innovative was that game? Name another sports game before that game that had play-by-play! That also brought about Sports Talk Baseball which was a great game.

But anyway, to make something out of this 'nothing' thread ... and this is for the old school gamers, does anyone remember how you could hit a home run through the wall in MLB Baseball for the NES? Till this day, I think about how great that game was to have actual players in it way before RBI Baseball and how much that home run glitch annoyed me.

I don't know, I think its pretty good. There are a few glitches, but its still fun overall.
