everytime i try, even in practice, they still do the same reach for the endzone/first down animation.... any tips?

its still "X"(360) as far as i know. i tried it once and he did a lazy flip. might try tapping the button? i don't remember exactly, but I'm sure its "X". (Square on PS3)

Haven't tried it myself, but I read somewhere that you can taunt the defender on a break-away by holding down the B button inside the 20 and trigger the special end zone dive animations by tapping the X button near the end zone.

X to do a flip into the end zone....to high step you need to be inside the 20 yard line with separation between the defendeer. If you aren't you'll just spin.

Dive from about the two or three yard line and he'll give you the dive you're looking for.

Just like taunting/high stepping you need to be at a safe distance. And I'm not sure that you do any fancy dives in Practice. Just in games.
