Question for IT smart guys regarding Online Dynasty

Hello all, I am fairly new to these boards. I have been reading them for a while but just started posting. Anyway, I have a question that maybe someone on here can help me with and maybe it has happened to one of you guys before.

Anyway, I am in a 8 man SEC Online Dynasty. When we are all in the Headquarters screen I can hear everyone except 1 guy. Well, the one guy that I couldn't hear speak (and he couldn't hear me either) and I had to play each other in our league game (Florida vs. Tennessee) and it wouldn't let us play. Does anyone know why this occured? We would get to the game start menu and it would just keep kicking one of us out. I have had this problem in the past with COD4 and it kinda worked itself out, but why in the hell is it doing this? Kinda blows when I can't even play Florida in my SEC dynasty.

can everyone else hear him?

can he play with everyone else?

are you and/or him using a router?

have you ever ran a Xbox Live connection test on the 360? if so what did it say for the NAT?

I kind of have the same problem...whenever I try to play online and I'm the home team, most of the time the person who is the away team CAN'T change teams. But it works fine when i'm the away team. What is going on?

I'm using a Netgear Router, ethernet from router to 360

No: We are not in the same House

Yes: Everyone else can hear him. they tell him things that i need him to know for me

Yes: He can play with everyone else

Yes: I am using a Linksys Wireless G router, with a hardwire going from the router directly into my 360 eithernet port

Yes: I have ran a test and it is "Open"

I had the same exact problem a few days ago. We couldn't chat and we couldn't play. I asked around on the forums and the only response I got was to have one or both of you direct connect through the modem. The other guy wound up dropping from the league so I never got to try it, but you should give that a shot.

Yeah modem directly to xbox.

Crap.....my modem has only one port which leads to my router for computer. Is there an adapter that I can buy that will add multiple ports to a one port modem?
