Ugh, I'm returning this copy!

I did a system clean up and deleted some files and the game is not freezing anymore, but it won't allow me to kickoff, punt, or attempt extra points. It just keeps bringing up the help box on kicking tips b/c somehow pressing the button A is the help button now? Has anyone else had this happen?

I think it's just your copy. I haven't had anything that dramatic happen to me.

u mean "A" to snap the ball? or actually kick it?

ROFL! Yes, that's why it says that A is help in those situations. To snap, you just start the kick meter.

do u have "press A" (for help) beside the kickoff meter?

I never have to use A. The only time A comes up for me is a fake punt.

lol, but the right stick is the kickoff button? it's not responding at all.

A is the help menu. The right analog stick kicks off.
