My game froze last night........

I've only had this game for a week and I have had it freeze on me once after a game while loading back to the dynasty screen. I have had NHL 08 since October now and during my play I have had it freeze on me several times. I've only had my xbox for about a year and a half but I'm curious if it is the system. It seems like in this thread the majority of people having this freezing problem own a 360.

Also I have a question. One time while I was playing a game in NHL, my electricity went out and I thought that I encountered the ring of death. Then I turned my xbox on later and it worked and is still working. This was about two months ago. Anyone know what could have happened?

woould have to do with how many rings you encountered on you xbox and where they are. each pattern means something different. I get the E71 error a lot recently but i wish it would just RROD and i could send it in and get it over with.
