The problem is the linebackers have no speed, so you have to compensate for it. If you come out in base defense personnel you are asking for death, especially against a back like Noel Devine. One of the best things you can do, is come out in Quarters, or Dime 32 (Use Quarters Package) and audible down to a base defense to get a CB or a backup safety man to man on him. They will keep up with him as he releases on the screen. The only problem you will have is tackling, which they tend to come through most of the time. I hate playing defense this way, but EA leaves you little recourse IMO.

I'm blanking on the name of the play but it's the one where your DEs flare to the outside. DE spy ... ? no. DE ... something something.

The DE will be behind the blockers and running right at the RB.

Is it DE Contain? Where both DE flare out but not so far that they are in the flat...

Ive been pretty consistant stopping screens. Im ranked 21st on online(ps3) for basically shooting down what people think are money plays. Like i said its pretty hard to stop a screen. when u dont expect it. I know, I tend to run it alot when people are running zone or blitzing every play. The best thing to do is play it yourself. the 2nd best is to hot route a DL or LB to man the RB this has been working 98%
