What I am seeing a lot of now online is the deep post bomb! For some reason, my safeties can not or will not cover deep. the outside wr simply runs a deep post, out runs the entire secondary, and the qb launches the ball at least 60 yards to the endzone. WTF?

I play as the safety so that rarely happens to me. Try running Cover 3 or the Cover 2 Buc (Tampa 2) zone defenses. Of course you leave yourself wide open to giving up underneath routes, but frankly what defense doesn't in 09?
