Too many times they don't go after an open hole. I'm playing vs WVU and Devine, instead of going getting a guaranteed 8-10 yards with an open hole he cuts back towards a bunch of defenders for negative 5.

Happens way too often and is part of the reason the CPU running game blows.

Yep and CPU QB's running the ball are even worst even players like Pat White. Does anybody else notice that the cpu qbs run like there going to pitch the ball even when there is nobody to pitch it to?

Try playing as a QB in campus legend. IT. IS. RIDICULOUS.

I have a 94 rated RB and he is averaging 2.6 YPC after 10 games. I as the QB am averaging 5.6 YPC.

From what I've observed, they seem to run to contact for some IDIOTIC reason. It's like they are completely averse to hitting the opening. Whenever it is 3rd or 4th and short and a running play is called, I ALWAYS audible. I can't trust the CPU to run properly.

My hatred for this game grows by the day.

It runs and cuts at 45 degree angles old school d-pad style other than a few rare times when it has a 10-15 degree angle cut. That just doesn't get it done for getting through traffic. Throw in the random jukes and it's a recipe for a terrible cpu run game.
