So, the idea of this thread is simple:

Which teams in NCAA 09 are much better in the game than they are in real life, and which teams are worse in the game than they should be, based on reality?

I think that an overrated team is South Carolina. Every time I play them, I either lose, or have to pull out a close one JUST to win. Nothing against Gamecock fans, but this is a team that went 6-6 last season and I barely am beating them. They're like a powerhouse in this game!

An underrated team, I think, is Mississippi State. Yes, I know they only went 8-5 last year, but they are way too easy in this game for me to beat. I've beaten them consistently by scores of 45-0, 52-21, and the like.

What about your opinions?

Overrated: Ohio State (maybe mid to low 90s), Florida State (80s)... I guess Georgia (as much as that hurts being an alum) they don't deserve a 99 (maybe for D), they should be around the 94-97

Underrated: I agree with Miss St... any FCS team (all are 30 ovr? atleast in the 60s)

Overrated: Arizona...84 overall is way too high

Underrated: Oregon State...77 overall??? wow

I can even admit that my Buckeyes are overrated. They should probably be in the low 90s. FSU is also overrated as they are every year.

Overrated: Ole Miss, South Carolina, Northern Illinois, WMU

Underrated: Kansas, Boise, Auburn, Tulsa

Most underrated team is BC. I have been using them in a dynasty and I am amazed that they are rated sor poorly compared to other teams in the acc and ND.

A 77 overall makes them the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the acc in the game... and yet they always seem to manage to win nine games... go figure. I don't get how they can be rated lower than teams they beat year in and year out...

I understand they don't get the sexy recruits, but they manage to always have a good team and put a couple guys in the pros. It isn't reflected in the ratings though.

I'm done griping.

FYI: I'm a Nebraska alum
