I didn't know Tim Wakefield and Tom Candiotti were college QBs

This has been a problem on the game for many years now. I am baffled it's not been fixed yet. It's not completely clear at first that the ball takes a 90 degree turn at the end, but the camera angle randomly shifts, so you can tell what it's doing.

This is my QB, doing his best Tom Candiotti impersonation. The ball is going straight to my WR. Why does it curve at the end? Because I'm already up 7 and then I'd be 14 ahead, and we can't have that, so the AI has to do something ridiculous, like this.

Now here is Duke's QB doing his Tim Wakefield impersonation. I have the play perfectly defended, so why does this happen? Because it's 3rd down and the AI is virtually perfect on 3rd down. And because I have the play perfectly defended and the game doesn't like it when you do that, so it has to punish me to teach me a lesson and prevent me from trying to play Defense in the future.

Edit your first link, it has an extra http.

The QB/Receiver interaction needs work for next year, no doubt.

What about shoe string INT's, those also happen almost as often.

Re: I didn't know Tim Wakefield and Tom Candiotti were college QBs

here's a good story. Two days ago I'm playing a game, down 38-35 with less than a minute left. I'm marching the ball downfield, my QB is lasering perfect passes in left and right.

All of a sudden, my HB breaks wide open in the flat on one of those HB out routes. I step up, completely let off the left stick because I don't want to accidentally miss this wide open pass, and what happens? My QB throws a knuckleball upfield, WAY off target from the HB's route, and a LB steps in front for the easy game-ending INT.

I've never been more frustrated by a play than I was by that one.

yeah, you're basically destined to throw a pick while you're trying to run your 2 minute offense at the end of a game. The AI though will go 6-6 in 40 seconds, not use timeouts either even though all logic says to, because they know they'll score and don't need the timeouts.
