Playing On-Line Rosters

when playing on-line do the roster of the home team the ones used...so if I pull a roster of someone EA locker is that what is used? Or do both teams have to have the same roster?

It uses the default roster that ships with the game. If you've changed anything appearance wise you will see the changes but your opponent won't. For instance if you have a named roster file but your opponent doesn't you will see names but he won't. Any ratings changes to your roster file are ignored.
