It is Linebacker U, but also RB U, IMHO.

I love it.
It will always be LB U because of all those RB you mentioned they were complete busts in the NFL. With the exception of Johnson of course.

Yeah, Royster is good in the game, but he's no Derrick Williams (#2). If I played kickoffs and punt returns without house rules I would probably get him the Heisman just for his special teams work, not to mentioned he is a good WR.

And Johnson was probably the least hyped during his college career. Funny how things work out sometimes. His 2,000 yard season didn't seem to get all that much press or be taken too seriously.

yeah i'd say 3rd in the Heisman voting means not being taken too seriously.

I suppose more of his pro potential wasn't as highly thought of as Carter or Enis. He was also a distant 3rd in the voting for that Heisman.

Well, there have been great ones over the years. Franco Harris being the best in the NFL. But I don't think NFL success measures whether it got the name "Linebacker U".

Tony Hunt may end up being a good back. Ki Jana Carter would probably have had a great career if not for the injury out of the gate. Enis was OK for a couple years. That being said, they were all exciting in college.

He didn't really come on until his senior year, though. So it was kind of out of no where.

I think if most people kept that in mind, the "NFL Benchmark" wouldn't be as necessary.
