QB wearing cement shoes?

is this just me or has anybody else noticed this? when having to scramble w/ your QB or running option, your QB seems to have decent speed while behind LOS. then once he passes line, he suddenly slows down. WTF??? i have run w/ Tebow and w/ Pat Smith who both have great speed for QB's. always when i clear the LOS, they slow way down and get creamed.

Yes, I've definitely noticed this, it becomes even more apparent after you play Madden where the QB scrambling is done quite well and doesn't artifically slow the QB down.

I agree with this. Using Florida in an online dynasty, I have noticed Tebow "not as fast" as he was before the 2nd patch.

Oddly enough I really haven't noticed this.

I find him running slower behind the line of scrimmage than he is out in the open.

Worst thing ever is to actually use the turbo in the backfield when the computer goes freak and speeds up as well.

Yes ive definitely noticed this. Just tonight I had a busted play and tried to run to the side lines to stop the clock and advance the ball when all of a sudden by QB starts to jog. It kept me from reaching the side lines and almost cost me the game.

I haven't really noticed my qb doing that but the CPU QB runs like they have cement in their shoes most of the time. Doesn't help that they never hit the hole.

I hate it when I'm in the open with my RB or I just broke a tackle and they start bobbing up and down while they're running. I've also noticed after the 2nd patch that when you're at full speed with skill players their legs start skipping and it seems to slow them down just a tiny bit to give the CPU an advantage.

Yeah, I generally have pretty good success running with my QBs, it's the CPU that can't.
