Winning the Heisman as Freshman / Injured

I just finished a dynasty season where my Freshman RB put up unbelievable numbers, but was not even invited to the Heisman ceremony. He was tops on the Heisman list from day 1, but got injured (questionable) and missed 3 games, but then played while still being listed as injured. My question is, did he not win the Heisman because he was a Freshman (I know it should be hard) or because he was listed as injured (but still playing).

Playing on Heisman, his #'s were:

117 carries
2015 yards (17.2 yards/carry)
38 TD

44 receptions
1099 yards
15 TD

2038 PR Yards 56.2 average 18 TD
1115 KR Yards 44.6 average 4 TD

6 tackles

Needless to say, the guy that won had far inferior numbers....wondering if anyone has won it before as a Freshman or being listed as "injured"?

The question, if I am correct is not; Are these numbers ridiculous? It is has anyone won the Heisman with a listed as injured freshman? Just in case you didn't understand.

I won the Heisman as a freshman but not injured. So I guess it had something to do with that.

BTW, I didn't mean my first post to sound like a jerk (prolly did), but those numbers just really jumped out at me.
