i'm not 100% sure on this, but i'm thinking on several occasions on a game i've recently played against the computer, that after scrambling out of the pocket for dear life i accidently passed the football for a completion, but did not get penalized for crossing the line of scrimage.....

any confirmation on this?

I haven't noticed this, but I've seen something similar. There are times when I can't find a receiver so I scramble out of the pocket. I think I'm past the line of scrimmage (but I've never hit up a replay to see if I really am) and I'll flick the right stick left or right to do a juke and my QB will do a pump fake, or (usually much worse), I'll hit "x" to slide and my QB will throw the ball off balance across the entire field to my "x" receiver who's double or triple covered.

Either the game allows you to throw the ball when you cross the line of scrimmage or we both really suck at remembering where the line of scrimmage is.

I am 100% positive that this is true. My friend told me about it, then it happened in a game we played. He threw the ball 3 yards past the LOS.

No videos, but I guarantee you if you play for 10 minutes TRYING to do it, it is possible.

I've done it before but i've never received a penalty.

More annoying to me is when the CPU runs out of bounds, then comes back in and makes a catch, with no penalty.

The CPU crosses the line and throws on me all the time.
