This is the "Heisman injury bug." If a player is injured, he won't win the Heisman. He could be #1 on the list all year. He could have 400 carries for 4,000 yards and 400 TDs, but if he's injured at the end of the year, he won't receive 1 single Heisman vote.

That is pretty damn impressive. He'll be a 99 as a sophomore!

Re: Best Recruit Ever!

I've played a few seasons and most of the top guys were about 86 overall but I just had a LT that was 90 overall coming in. I had lost a few guys early so he is starting now. I don't think I had ever seen a 90 true freshman before.

And, the guy that said recruit the 240 ath was dead on, just make sure he has a hands rating, that indicates an offensive player and not a defensive end.

A 93 true freshman? That makes me feel less guilty for creating a player at 92.

Re: Best Recruit Ever!

I don't remember getting a recruit better than an 86 overall recruit but just picked up a Free Safety with an 88 OVR including:

90 SPD
67 STR
88 AGI
92 ACC
74 AWR
90 JMP
69 TAK
80 POW
81 PUR
85 PRC
82 MCV
89 ZCV
79 PRS
75 RLS

We'll see how he pans out.

Re: Best Recruit Ever!

I just landed a wide receiver with 99 speed. I lucked out because he's in my state so it didn't take much convincing (I think he signed by week 5 or 6). He automatically takes the #1 spot on the depth chart at Clemson at 89 overall, by far my highest rated freshman recruit ever.

That's just messed up.
