Pass Catching Animations Question

Every single long pass my receivers catch they have to hold up slightly and catch the ball.

I have yet to see a catch caught in full stride without having to adjust to the throw.

Anyone else seen a perfectly thrown ball? I'm not talking short passes, I'm talking about the long ball 30 yards or longer.

I have had one... and only one as far as i can remember.

It was a out and up with the te. I pump faked to the TE just before he turned it up... The safety bit and the te had about 3 steps on him on the streak. I threw a lob and the te caught it in perfect stride on the 2 yard line... By that time the safety had run me down and started a tackle animation right as i caught it and they both tumbled into the endzone.

I only remember it bc it was so clean i watched the replay about 20 times.

I also remember bc its is one of about 5 times i have completed any type of bomb or deep pass in this game...

It's more of a problem that the safeties in this game have more catching animations than the WR's.

If I see another CPU WR keep running straight with their arms out on a deep jumpball while the DB/S makes a play on the ball, I'm going to go nuts.

And no, I'm not talking about my WR's... I'm talking about watching the CPU and their terrible AI.
