My 360 Stopped Working!!!

I was playing NCAA, and all of a sudden a bunch of random colors go on the screen, and a few seconds later the screen stops flashing and it becomes solid red. I turn it off, and turn it back on and now I don't get any video, but I get audio. It's like the video cord isn't plugged in, but it is. I tried it on a different TV, and it didn't work.

I bought a new AV cable, and I tried that and it didn't make it work either. PLEASE HELP!

sounds like the GPU(graphics chip) is going out. you'll probably have to send it in to MS for repair if you still have a warranty on it.

Same thing just happened to me yesterday. I called MS support, and they said that it was most likely the cables, even though I insisted that I had already used three different TYPES of cables (HDMI, VGA, and composite), none of which worked. After 5 or so minutes of back and forth, they agreed to take a look at the machine. They say I'll have it back within 2 weeks. Not that long of a wait for a better system...

Call and get the plastic coffin, ASAP. I am currently on my 3rd or 4th XBOX 360. You will get a reburshed or new one back in approximately 3 to 5 weeks. Many times less.
