I haven't seen it happen once this year in real life in college or the NFL. The 2-3 times overall I have seen it in my life, it's really obvious that it wasnt meant to happen.

Furthermore, this is a videogame, and it should not happen multiple times per game or when you call certain plays.

The issue seems to be with programming where players just jump at any ball in their vicinity.

It doesn't happen all that often because of something called passing lanes. You throw in these lanes so you don't hit other recievers or lineman. Most qb's with awareness know this and don't try to throw at a lineman.

Just be happy Jonothan Crompton ist throwin the ball around or else it would go to the 2nd row of the opposite endzone...
