I wouldn't call these house rules as I think of "house rules" as a way to make the game challenging when there's no other way. I do these things because I get GREAT realism...

• Let Corso call ALL plays (offense/defense/special teams)
• Only control QB on offense and K/P on Special Teams
• Both KR and PR are cpu-controlled
• All defensive players are cpu-controlled

as far as enforcing that is not a problem. I play my OD with one of my best friends "in real life was in my wedding" so worry about following them is no big deal at all. It makes the game challenging and it keeps us from dominating. We are in season 3 and no one has won the NC yet.

Man it's intense when you only control the QB and you're watching your defense play in a tight game hoping that they get a stop so you can have a chance to put the game away.

Just don't recruit anyone with 40 times below a certain number 4.30 for me and watch how much more strategic the game becomes.

That's the only necessary house rule for most players.

I've added additional house rules to create a more challenging game and I'm enjoying the game like never before, but speed is the main thing that kills this game.
