Player Ratings and On Field Results?

Im curious about how the ratings interact with eachother in the game. What could be improved to be more lifelike?
For example everyone thinks the speed rating is overpowered. But what does it interact with to give on the field speed. Acceleration is one
Are there any others? Maybe you could use the players hight, or use a stride length rating?


What needs to have more of an impact on the field?
What needs to be toned down?
What could be added or tweaked?


Also this is more of a general observation, but when watching a game in person or on tv, compared to the gameplay, it seems like everything in game moves so much slower. Any way to game speed as a whole could be increased? maybe with the different difficulty levels.

Has anyone tried to figure out how fast in game players move compared to real life? What about size, the players seem smaller too compared the size of the field

i think something has to be done t make awareness more important,

higher awr = read a play better = cut off a speed guy.

something like that would help lessen the dominance of speed while not handicapping it.

as of now, im takin the time to decrease the speed of all skill position players speed by 3-5 points but keeping dbs speed the same. the fastest guys wll be no higher than 96. defaulted with dk's rosters

If they fix this then they would have went a Loooooooong way into fixing the game play.
I want to be able to SEE things like guys with poor route running, running sloppy routes and barely getting open. WR's with good route running run crisp routes and actually get open.

Defenders with Low awareness missing zone assignments and blowing coverages.

This game doesn't put the "Human" factor in football. Players make mistakes every game, not ever defense does exactly what they are supposed to each time. This would be nice to penalize you for playin a bunch of freshmen. This is not very realistic in college although some schools do it out of need.

When I use oklahoma. Nic harris the safety isnt even good. But then when i dont use oklahoma. He's winning the Thorpe and hes got like five pics 40tkls 4 ff, etc.

Seems like the game only does this for freshmen QB's. Put a freshman in at QB and you won't be able to perform an option pitch, will lose composure in an instant, and will randomly throw straight at defenders.

It seems like all or nothing with this game. They need to find a middle ground.

ya. they need to bring the composure rating back from the old gen....... not just a bunch of dumb squiggly lines.
