I have this problem with NCAA 09 on PS2 that whenever I scramble with the QB or sometimes when I pass the game just flat out lags. For you guys on PS2 can you confirm if this game does drop its frame rate occasionally or is this just me.

I personally haven't noticed this much, but yes, it does happen from time-to-time. Not a big deal to me.

It's no biggy I just wondered if it might have been my TV settings. Loving the game though.

I think it's just the PS2 not being able to handle everything on the field; there's also a small pause inbetween plays on Madden 09 sometimes on PS2.

Glad you are enjoying the game. I switched to the PS2 versions of both Madden and NCAA and am very happy I did so.

Never has lagged for me. I play the game on my PS3 though so maybe that helps it.
