NCAA 10 should put more of an emphasis on coaching carousels.

Second this notion. Love the coaching carousel in College Hoops. With the coaches named also in NCAA football it would be so cool to start a dyna w/a lame school & move up being able to see who your replacing at each step of the ladder to the top.

I like this idea as well but we shouldnt compare it to CHoops because I'm sure the database is much smaller for CHoops than it is for NCAA. its the reason why we are limited to 70 players.

But the idea is great. It would affect everything from recruiting to play calling. As of now if let say Michigan would get rid of Rich Rod they would still be running that spread. and recruiting for speed. but with this suggested system Michigan Offense could change and where and how good they recruited depends on the new coach that was brought in.

I could see them implementing this but not to what we want.

I would think the database would be larger in CHoops since there are so many more NCAA D1 basketball teams meaning more coaching posisions?

not even close choops has 300 teams each team 15 players and 3 coaches so 300*18 = 5400 individuals give them an extra 100 coaches so you can choose = 5500

College football and if you give them 3 coaches for each team(HC, OC, DC) plus the 70 players you get 119*73 = 8687 individuals. if you give them a pool of extra coaches you get about 8800

I'm a DBA and Programmer and those 3000+ extra entry's can be significant depending on the software/application

* I cant remember how many teams are in Choops I know its atleast 300 maybe
