NCAA10 Request: OD: Have bowl games be one week

Here's a request I haven't seen:
In Online Dynasty, the bowl games should all be treated as the same week. That way, when some users maybe don't have bowl games, and others are playing on different weeks, the league doesn't have to wait for a sequence of games to be played. (Players C and D doesn't have to wait for Players A and B, Player E doesn't have to wait for Player C and D. Any of them can play whenever they are ready.)

The only problem I see with this is injuries. i.e. a player with a 2-week injury during conference championship week should be ready for the national championship, but not the first bowl week. The fix is simple, though. Just have injuries progress a different amount, depending on when the team's bowl week is.

Anything sensible that can be done to reduce time waiting for other players in Online Dynasty is good. This would be a fairly simple and very effective change to that end.

Same with the whole off-season. It just pisses me off having to sim after looking at my zero transfer requests, depth chart fixes, and the ratings after the camp that I don't care about.

I think Transfer Requests could be combined with Players Leaving. Let's say User Team A has a player that wants to transfer to User Team B.
Under the current system, Team A tries to talk him into staying. If he fails, then at the next stage, Team B gets to choose whether or not to accept him.
A more efficient system would be, in the same stage, Team A tries to talk him into staying, and at the same time, Team B chooses whether or not to accept him. If Team A fails to persuade him and Team B accepts him, then in the next stage he'll be on Team B's team. (Otherwise he'll still be on Team A's team.)

So here is the proposal.
New system:
1. Bowl Weeks 1-3
2. Players Leaving & Transfer Requests
3-7. Offseason Recruiting Weeks 1-5
8. Position Changes
9. Training Results
10. Cut Players (This could be combined with 8, but it's trivial to skip 8 anyway)
11. Preseason

Old system:
1. Bowl Week 1
2. Bowl Week 2
3. Bowl Week 3 (national championship)
4. Players Leaving
5. Transfer Requests
6-10. Offseason Recruiting Weeks 1-5
11. Position Changes
12. Training Results
13. Cut Players
14. Preseason

That's a pretty good idea as well, as long as it's optional. It might be a little risky due to possible issues such as if the last game of the week was played and needed to be replayed.

I wonder how hard this feature would be to implement, since it would involve moving the advancement from commish control to server control.

I wouldn't want the auto-advance feature on my league. I prefer to have complete control.

The other things, like combining bowl weeks, combining offseason, etc. would be great. The offseason can take a while otherwise.
