If you don't cheese the computer and play on lets say heisman with good sliders I highly doubt the game is easy. The PS2 is just as easy as the PS3 version, if not easier. In the PS3 version, due to really bad pursuit angles, you can run in circles to avoid people, you can't do that in the PS2 version because the backs shift weight.
