The least they could do is throw the chain gang on the sideline. For heavens sake Tecmo Bowl on the NES had the chain set showing.

I do have to question EA's strategy of adding non-playing characters.

Wouldn't it have been better to add refs and coaches before cheerleaders and security guards???

Its not that easy cause the cheerleaders and sideline people dont really do much other than stand there. Like soltice said, refs have to have collition detection and other stuff and it would take longer to program then say a camera man.

I understand, but I'd rather have had neither cheerleaders or security guards last year if it meant we get refs and coaches this year.

Security guards, sideline media, cheerleaders, and players on the sideline are all pretty much the same tech with different animations.

This is pretty pathetic. I mean, really. I almost feel bad for saying it, but c'mon now... Is this it? Jeez... I should want to buy this game every year, I shouldn't be strategizing which of the next three years it'll have everything I want in it so I can buy it....
