Re: Reading the Defense

One thing I've noticed is you can always tell when the CB is blitzing when they line up inside of the reciever they're guarding. Presnap if you look out wide you can tell they are ever so slightly lined up closer in than the Wideout.

Re: Reading the Defense

Its funny how in ncaa 09 I was able to read everything listed above but in madden 09 I wasnt able to read the "micro" actions the D did in ncaa. In madden 08 I was Brady/Manning to presnap and it was the same in ncaa 09 but when I started 2 play madden 09 I felt like a rookie qb playing against the steelers D IRL. It would have been cool if ncaa was like this.

I'd love to hear if you guys have anymore.
I think implementing fake blitzes would help. That way when a LB CB or S creep up it gives that impression and then they just fall back into covering routes. I think I have seens this in previous games with LB's but not so much with a safety or corner. Also A lot of times on corner blitzes the corner will leave his receiver and line up closer to the DE. Staying back a bit longer might help make difficult reads on this.
