Been having some fun with Dynasty mode recently. About to play my 3rd big bowl game with Ball State in 4 years, and I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like their uni's. So, does anyone know any rebuilding project schools that have nice uniforms? I figure I can improve everything else about the school, but the uniforms will always be te same so I may as well stick with one that I like.

buffalo, army (notre dame's but black looks cool) or north texas.....

well "cool" uniforms are a matter of opinion, but I'll say UTEP has some pretty cool looking ones. but most people don't like orange. they also have an alternate uniform. plus I like their stadium a lot. they are a 3-star team though.

my offline dynasty is with Temple. their uniforms are ok i guess. there not ugly at least.

Try Arkanas State. Their logo is SICK. Black uni's with red trim.

I like Arkansas State's as well.

they also have helmet stickers.

Nice... I may try Arkansas State. Is there a way I can switch teams after a season? I know sometimes you get offers to ~3 teams, but can you choose other teams? I'd like to keep this team so I can use coach prestige as a good pitch.

Well, you also can't change the stadium. If you're starting out, then choices are limited but if you're taking over where you left off then Purdue probably really stinks by now. And I have always liked their uniforms/traditions/stadium a lot. Love the horn whistle when they score...

The only problem is they are categorized as a small school in this game. Even if they are 6-stars, they will have about 60-70 players (at most) interested in the school when recruiting comes around. Which is exactly what I had with Colorado State..

In other words, Purdue isn't too easy to build up compared to most other Big Ten teams.

ha, great thread..this is basically what I ask myself each time I want to start a "work from the bottom up" type of dynasty..

As for the crap teams with cool unis:

UTEP
Northwestern
North Texas
ECU
Tulsa
Memphis
Rice
UNLV
New Mexico
Mid Tennessee St.
Utah State

It really depends on your definition of sweet though..
