I really hope they make this more realistic - last year, any scrub kicker could pop a 55-yarder with ease.

I wouldnt say all kickers were automatic, i had a sophmore K miss quite a few for me but he was awful.

But there HAS to be a better system for it. The older system for kicking was way more challenging. Update that and factor in Kickers overall ratings and difficulty setting and that should be an easy fix.

Re: Kicking System in 2010

The computer had guys who would have an overall rating of 71 and their Kicker would knock down a 57 yarder no problem. And I also noticed that the kickers would double kick the ball every time. It looked weird on replay.

If they tone down the FG power I hope it doesn't effect kickoff power...it's already tough to keep the return team behind the 35

if the sliders are more effective, that wouldn't matter, there is a separate FG power and Kickoff power sliders.

If you lower the kicking slider kicking is more difficult, but yes at its default, kicking is way too easy.
