Custom Conference questions...

1. If we can make our own schools, can we then make our own conference for them?

2. If I want Miami in the Sec, do I have to take a team out? Why can't I just add them?

1. You cant create conferences, you can only move people around in them

2. You have to take them out, the number of teams in the conference has to remain the same.

thats why custom conferences dont do much for me this year. until you can add without taking away or make a new one entirely its not getting used much by me....and the fact the conference logos on unis/fields dont change with swithes takes a lot of realism away from it.

I don't get why they don't give us the option to do anything we want.

It takes to much time and effort to let us do what we want. With the set structure it makes things much easier. I dont know if you have ever programmed anything, but when sometime is not a set number, it can get quite tedious on certain levels.

The idea behind custom conferences was to increase head to head games in online dynasty. It is a simple one for one swap of teams.

If we were to allow you to create conferences and change the size of conferences we have to change all of the logic in dynasty mode that deals with these, then we are talking about a very big feature that most likely would have been cut.

yea i forgot about scheduling mess this would create. my bad...i do believe that having the logos switch should be a concern headed into development of 2011 (along with refs, equipment, etc. )
