Will NCAA 10 be NTSC only?

Could someone tell me if NCAA 10 will be NTSC only, and if it is, why it is NTSC only?

If it was PAL as well, I would buy it, so EA is only losing a sale this way.

I would bet there is a 95% chance it will be NTSC only. I feel your pain as I'm in a PAL region as well. I got so fed up with not being able to play a ton of games like NCAA Football, Basketball, College Hoops, MLB 2K, All Pro Football etc, that I bought a PS3 to get my fix. I'm not sure why these games are region locked like this and the developers never tend to give a straight answer when asked. It must be some kind of licensing issue. Although it just seems like lost sales to us.

It costs money to produce games in the PAL format. ANd the production costs far outweight the potential purchase cost.

PS3 is the way to go.

Ok. I did not know that it cost developer more to produce both types. That's fair enough.

I'm UK and bought a PS3 so that I could get my fix of North American sports...PS3 is the way to go as these games will never get a PAL release - I doubt there is much call for sales in PAL areas...yes, there are a few of us, but not enough to warrant a PAL release.

Is it really an issue of cost? I thought it would be as simple as leaving the region coding off the disc. A huge percentage of 360 games are region free now. Even Madden was last year, although that game does get a PAL release. I think its fair enough that games like these don't get released over here because there is such low demand, but it always really annoyed me that the people who did want to play them couldn't, all because of region locking.

I'm just super grateful that the PS3 is a region free machine, aside from PS1 games though. (Can't play PS2 games on my 80 gig. Grrrrr.) If games like the Show were region locked then there would be rioting in the streets.
