new running animations in madden

Yeah I watched it again and I honestly think it looks nothing like a real player running with the football. Somebody posted a video of Chad Johnson running with the ball and I'd honestly say his feet are moving three times faster than in this video...

It must be much harder than any of us can imagine to mimick the actual running of an NFL player. It's like when they get the motion capture equipment on these guys, they think they're supposed to go half speed and that's what ends up being in the game. That is, if they're still using motion cap, I know that's kind of like the technology of yesteryear.

I'm impressed that they are still making significant adjustments. I'm jealous.

The problem is the running animation. It looks ridiculous, ESPECIALLY when you're runner gets tired.

I know you have seen the vids of the new running animation that Ian and Co. are working on. Those vids are way better than the old ones that are in the game now. Thats why it is such a big deal to everyone.

Whatever happened to the signature running styles anyways? I think it was madden 06 that had them, and I thought they were great.
