then why wait til now to bring up the charges? Had he made it in the pros, I highly doubt we'd ever hear from him. Again, its a case of looking for fortune and fame anyway you can get it.

I mean, he went undrafted, got cut by the Bucs and Raiders, and then went to play in the Arena Football League, where guess what, he was waived by the Avengers or something along those lines.

The guy is a never was looking for a handout.

Its an extremely weak case. Keller's only argument is that his likeness includes his skin color and his uniform number which is an extremely weak argument. NCAA's players rarely look anything like their counterparts and the only way players are identifiable is by their uniform number. Its a hard argument to make.

Worse case scenario. EA randomizes its rosters but leaves in the ability to edit.

Height/Weight/Position/Home Town/State too. But yeah, I agree with you.

I just find it extremely hard to believe that he's going to convince a court that the NCAA conspired with EA.

height and weight aren't always exact and I don't remember the last time that I saw a player have the correct hometown.

Why wait till now? Uh... I just answered that.

And this is hardly about fortune or fame... He doesn't really stand to make much off this... And Fame??? Not sure where you got that one. It's a simple court case where someone thinks they've been wronged.

Personally, I think it's wrong that they even included Eugene Jarvis's name in this arguement. Did they even ask him if it was ok to drag his name into their arguement. For all we know, he may not even have a problem with his likeness being in the game.

Keller seems like a bitter individual that didn't make it big and has a personal beef against the NCAA and sueing EA along with them allows him to get a potential payday that he didn't get had he become a Pros.

I also think it's interesting that he is saying that he's doing this on behalf off all College Athletes. I wonder how many actually agree with his stance? Wondering why no one ever thought to sue the NCAA and EA before? Oh, because most of them don't care and see it as "cool" or "an honor" to be in the game.

It's not a weak case... The settlement might be weak, but it's not a weak case.
